Job Description">

The Planning Coordinator will be responsible for developing, monitoring and updating project schedules for a high-rise building project. The role requires close coordination with the project team to ensure timely progress tracking, resource monitoring and preparation of periodic progress reports for management and client review.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain baseline project schedules in MS Project (or Primavera, if required) aligned with contract requirements and approved construction methodology.
  • Prepare and update schedules/look-ahead programmes to ensure effective short-term planning and coordination.
  • Track and monitor daily site progress against planned activities, identifying delays or deviations and reporting critical issues.
  • Prepare and submit Daily Progress Reports, Weekly Progress Reports, Monthly Progress Reports (with narratives, charts and S-curves), and Monthly Programme.
  • Monitor resource deployment (labour, plant and materials) against planned requirements and highlight shortages or overutilization.
  • Conduct periodic variance analysis between planned vs actual progress and recommend corrective measures.
