Job Description

We are seeking an expert in database administration to join our team. As a senior member of the database administration team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our database infrastructure.

  • Work closely with application teams to ship solutions that integrate seamlessly with our database systems.
  • Develop and enforce best practices for database security, backup, and recovery.
  • Provide database expertise to engineering teams through reviews of database migrations, queries and performance optimizations.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Our ideal candidate has at least 4-8 years of experience running MySQL/PostgreSQL databases in large environments.

  • Awareness of cloud infrastructure such as AWS/GCP is also desirable.
  • The ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams is crucial.
