Database Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our data management group, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale databases.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in database administration, including configuration, optimization, security, and performance tuning. You will work closely with our development team to ensure that our databases meet the evolving needs of our business.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Designing and implementing new database systems, including data modeling, schema design, and normalization
- Administering existing databases, including backup and recovery, security, and performance monitoring
- Collaborating with developers to ensure database integrity and consistency
- Developing and implementing data migration strategies
- Ensuring compliance with data governance policies and procedures
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 7+ years of relevant experience in database administration, including NoSQL and traditional SQL databases
- Proven expertise in database design, implementation, and administration
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
