Job Title: Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Infrastructure Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Unix-based enterprise infrastructure, storage solutions, and system administration.

Responsibilities include:

  • Implementing and managing Tanla's Unix-based enterprise infrastructure.
  • Maintaining and upgrading storage solutions for Linux, VMware, Nutanix, and Proxmox VE environments.
  • Identifying and investigating complex system malfunctions, isolating causes and working with vendors to resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Monitoring usage, capacity, and performance of systems, liaising with users and vendors to address problems and changes in requirements.
  • Maintaining system documentation including licensing, hardware and software inventory, security data, user manuals, Visio-style layouts, etc.
  • Managing servers using remote console solutions such as KVM, iLO, and iDRAC, and handling firmware updates and patch management to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Implementing MBSS and security best practices, performing regular security audits.
  • Designing and implementing new hardware infrastructure, planning, installation, and configuration of hardware and software.
  • Planning and implementing upgrades to IT systems, installing and configuring hardware and software.
  • Ensuring systems are properly backed up and monitored, defining and implementing backup procedures for disaster recovery purposes.
  • Providing technical guidance and direction to less experienced staff.
  • Managing Ticketing queue and issue resolution.
