Software Engineer - Cloud Solutions

As a Senior Software Engineer, your mission will be to utilize cutting-edge technology to develop complex module/component designs, automate and maintain efficient, flexible, and fault-tolerant cloud solutions.

You should be a highly motivated and talented engineer with a strong desire to learn and grow your skills in developing solutions for cloud offerings and deployment. You will be responsible for all aspects of the development, load balancing, and disaster recovery, etc., and work continuously with cloud solutions.

What this role offers:

  • Independently develop complex software
  • Takes ownership of code quality by actively reviewing source code, taking defect prevention steps in software developed
  • Interacts well with peers and communicates clearly and concisely both verbally and written on their work
  • Actively participates and contributes to analysis, design, planning, processes, etc., raises issues where needed, and creates sensitivity towards timely resolution of problems
  • Adopts agile development methodologies and test-driven development

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of enterprise product development experience
  • Strong hands-on experience in Java/J2EE technologies
  • Very good problem-solving, analytical, design, and coding skills
  • Programming and scripting languages (Java)
  • Experience on Spring and Hibernate
  • Experience on index replication like Apache Solr
  • Exposure on building and consuming web services (using RESTful APIs)
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycles, Agile methodologies
  • Good knowledge on algorithm design and analysis, including knowledge of data structures and design patterns
