Embedded Linux Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Linux Engineer to design and develop custom Board Support Packages (BSPs) for various hardware platforms.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain Yocto-based Embedded Linux distributions, ensuring seamless integration with target hardware.
  • Design and implement BSPs for multiple hardware platforms, including custom boards and system-on-chip (SoC) devices.
  • Work on the Linux kernel, bootloaders, and device drivers to optimize system performance, boot time, and memory usage.
  • Implement and maintain secure boot and update mechanisms to ensure the integrity of our systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Linux-based systems with hardware and applications.
  • Provide expert-level debugging and root cause analysis for complex system-level issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in Embedded Linux BSP development, including hands-on experience with Yocto Project.
  • Solid knowledge of Linux kernel, bootloaders (U-Boot, etc.), and device drivers, with proficiency in C programming and cross-compilation toolchains.
  • Excellent understanding of embedded hardware architectures and build systems, with experience in version control (Git) and debugging tools.
