Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Compensation Specialist to design, implement, and manage compensation programs that are competitive, equitable, and aligned with our business objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and administer compensation programs, including base salary, bonuses, incentives, and benefits, to ensure competitiveness and alignment with business goals.
  • Conduct market research and compensation benchmarking to maintain competitive pay structures.
  • Collaborate with HR, finance, legal, and senior management to develop compensation policies and programs.
  • Analyse compensation data, market trends, and regulatory changes to provide strategic recommendations.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to compensation and benefits.
  • Review and update compensation structures to ensure they are equitable and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Administer and manage salary review processes, bonus programs, and incentive plans.
  • Provide guidance to HR business partners and managers on compensation decisions, salary reviews, and job evaluations.
  • Utilize HRIS and compensation management systems to manage and track compensation data.
  • Prepare and present reports on compensation trends, internal equity, and market analysis.

Requirements:

  • 4-5 years of experience as a Compensation and Benefits Specialist, Analyst, or Senior Analyst, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Deep understanding of compensation structures, benefits programs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide meaningful insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior management.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and compensation management systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality regarding employee information.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to change.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
