Immigration Paralegal Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Immigration Paralegal. The ideal candidate will possess a strong attention to detail, excellent case management skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and editing complex immigration cases, including NIWs, O-1s, EB-1As, and H-1Bs. They will also manage a large caseload while liaising with internal teams to ensure efficiency and high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and editing complex immigration cases
  • Managing a large caseload and prioritizing tasks effectively
  • Liaising with government agencies, including USCIS, CBP, and the US Department of Labor
  • Communicating effectively with clients throughout the visa process
  • Reporting to legal teams and managers regarding case progression and status
  • Supporting lawyers in preparing evidence and documents for submission
  • Identifying and rectifying delays in the process, showcasing strategic acumen and initiative
  • Maintaining accurate records and tracking cases consistently according to firm policies

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Proficiency in relevant software and technology

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess at least three years of immigration experience, with expertise in O-1s, NIWs, and EB-1As. A Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate is highly desirable.
