GIS Data Engineer Position

This is a role that requires expertise in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting geospatial data. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

  • Data Collection: Search, collect, process, and manage large datasets, including GIS data, satellite imagery, and other spatial data sources.
  • Validate and ensure the quality of spatial data through ETL operations between GIS applications/database using Esri Desktop or Server.
  • Spatial Analysis and Mapping: Conduct spatial analysis, map creation, and geospatial model development to support various projects and initiatives.
Required Skills
  • Experience with image analysis: Familiarity with image processing techniques.
  • Working knowledge of ESRI products - ArcGIS Enterprise, Image Analyst Extension, Data Reviewer Extension.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters degree in RS, GIS, Geoinformatics, or a related field.
  • Ability to identify, research, and resolve issues proactively and provide recommendations to peers and management.
  • Familiarity with trade shows and conferences.
