Data Annotation Specialist

This is a 100% remote contract role where you will be working independently and collaboratively as part of a team to annotate and label data.

Key responsibilities include accurately annotating text, image, video or audio content according to project guidelines, reviewing and validating existing annotations for consistency and quality, collaborating with data scientists and engineers to understand annotation requirements and provide feedback, maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail across all tasks and meeting productivity and quality goals on a daily and weekly basis.

The ideal candidate should have a strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions. Good communication and comprehension skills in English are required, particularly for data types that require additional languages. Previous experience in data annotation or similar roles is advantageous but not mandatory.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, while a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills and the use of annotation tools or platforms is necessary.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines is crucial.
