Job Summary

">Global Service Manager, Site Infrastructure and Regional Operations.

This is a unique opportunity to take your career to the next level by managing IT infrastructure components for a global organization. As a Global Service Manager, you will be responsible for planning, building, maintaining, and decommissioning IT infrastructure components in consultation with global teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Single-point-of-Contact for the supplier of Country IT Infrastructure and services.
  • Ensure that local teams and vendors deliver maintenance, troubleshooting and service delivery according to Sandoz standards
  • Communicate and establish upcoming IT Infrastructure changes to the local communities.
  • Support and ensure compliance to the defined IT Governance controls, standards, and practices.
  • Accountable for managing suppliers as applicable in ensuring they deliver quality services and meet all contractual obligations. Tracks actual utilization of services and reporting of supplier performance in meeting business service expectations and service levels.
  • Manage strategic relationships with senior leadership of assigned markets/functions and serve as a key point of contact and trusted advisor/business partner for all IT topics
  • Maintain technology programs, support maintenance of local application portfolio and roadmap for assigned markets/functions
  • Address business demand by capturing high level technology requirements x-functionally, developing business case and support prioritization by value management
  • Represent end-to-end Sandoz technology functions in the overall local business engagement and governance

Minimum Requirements:

What You'll Bring To The Role:

Network Infrastructure: Understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, VLANs, and routing.
Server Management: Proficiency in managing operating systems (Windows, Linux), server hardware, and software.
Project Management: Skills in planning, executing, and managing IT projects, potentially using Agile or Scrum methodologies.
Security: Knowledge of cybersecurity practices, firewalls, VPNs, and compliance requirements.
Monitoring and Ticketing Tools: Experience using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, GLPI, or ServiceNow.

Supporting Technical Skills:

Operating Systems: Deep understanding of Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems.
Hardware: Knowledge of server hardware components and their configuration.
Software: Understanding of software applications and their integration with the infrastructure.
Compliance: Familiarity with regulations like GDPR, ISO 27001, or PCI DSS.
Automation: Skills in using scripting and automation tools to streamline infrastructure management tasks.
Configuration Management: Understanding of configuration management principles and practices.
Backup and Recovery: Experience with backup and recovery procedures and technologies.
Incident Management, Service Management and Problem Management: Ability to respond to and resolve IT incidents, Requests effectively.
