Job Description">

The System Architect plays a key role in the infrastructure framework analysis and design phase, working with application teams and other critical teams to ensure that the completed infrastructure and application architecture aligns with operational standards and principles.

This job requires experience in internet fundamentals related to web servers, application servers, internet security, and other internet technologies. The System Architect must have expertise in designing and delivering internet infrastructure solutions that satisfy member, product, service, and backbone requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generating high-level system requirements based on given requirements and constraints.
  • Ensuring that all architectural products are maintained in the most current state and never become obsolete.
  • Resolving internet architectural and operational problems impacting infrastructure and product availability and performance globally.
  • Researching and evaluating new technology for possible deployment in the organization's internet infrastructure.
  • Implementing, managing, and supporting internet infrastructure components while leveraging current standards and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of network, operating system principles, and web middleware.
  • Advanced knowledge of load balancers and web application firewalls.
  • Working knowledge of Database technologies and cloud technologies.
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture principles and Network Micro-segmentation.
  • Experience working with YAML-based deployments.
