Business Management Role

MUFG Bank's global network spans over 40 markets, providing a wide range of commercial and investment banking products and services to businesses, governments, and individuals worldwide. As part of the bank's operations, we are seeking a skilled Business Management professional to join our team in Mumbai.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and administration tasks, ensuring the stable operation of departments within Global Corporate & Investment Banking (GCIB). This includes strategy development, budget monitoring, MIS reporting, and implementation of regional/global initiatives. The role also involves managing multiple complex projects and competing priorities, requiring a high level of organization and logical approach.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Support the Head of GCIB in developing business strategies and take a lead role in implementing global and/or regional initiatives.
  • Financial Performance Monitoring: Track departmental financial performance against projected targets and assess progress against key performance indicators (KPIs) and key risk indicators (KRIs).
  • Reporting and Analysis: Manage Management Information Systems (MIS) and provide regular updates to senior management on departmental performance.
  • Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders both within the organization and externally.
  • Team Support: Act as a role model and support junior team members on complex issues, providing guidance and coaching when needed.

Candidate Profile:

  • A minimum of 2-4+ years of experience in reporting and/or business management or related fields.
  • Strong Communication and Stakeholder Management Skills: Ability to build partnerships and communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Highly Organized: Structured and logical approach, with the ability to manage multiple complex projects and competing priorities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office: Experience with PowerPoint, Excel, and other Microsoft tools is essential.
