Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and compliance of space-grade components and systems.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality plans, procedures, and standards to guarantee defect-free products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality requirements are embedded in designs and processes.
  • Conduct audits and process evaluations across vendors and internal teams to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure traceability and configuration control of components and documentation to facilitate efficient product development.
  • Support risk management and failure mode analysis (FMEA) to minimize potential issues.
  • Key Responsibilities (continued):
  • Perform inspection and testing of incoming components, in-process assemblies, and final products to verify their integrity.
  • Monitor and verify compliance with ATPs (Acceptance Test Procedures), PID, and DTRs to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Coordinate environmental testing (thermal, vibration, EMI/EMC) and review results to optimize product performance.
  • Investigate non-conformances and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Maintain calibration and certification records of test equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
  • 2-3 years of experience in QA/QC roles, preferably in aerospace or space systems.
  • Familiarity with industry standards like ECSS, ISRO-PAS, MIL-STD-883, IPC-A-610.
  • Hands-on experience with inspection tools, test benches, and environmental chambers.
  • Strong documentation, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with satellite subsystems (e.g., Reaction Wheel, Battery, EPS, CDH).
  • Experience with satellite Assembly & Integration QA/QC.
  • Knowledge of reliability engineering and statistical quality control.
  • Exposure to cleanroom protocols and ESD-safe handling.
  • Certification/Knowledge in Six Sigma, AS9100, or ISO 9001 is a plus.
