Web Application Security Professional Opportunity

 

About the Position:

We are seeking a seasoned Web Application Security Specialist to lead our application security efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web application security, with experience in performing automated and manual penetration testing, as well as code review.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough security assessments of web applications, APIs, and mobile applications to identify vulnerabilities.
- Utilize industry-leading tools such as SAST, DAST, AppScan, NetsSparker, Acunetix, Checkmarx, Veracode, BurpSuite, OWASP ZAP, and Kali Linux to perform security tests.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement secure coding practices and ensure compliance with security standards.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive security reports to stakeholders, including technical and non-technical audiences.
- Provide guidance on remediation strategies and assist in the implementation of security controls.

 

Mandatory Technical & Functional Skills:

- Minimum three (3) years of recent experience working with web application security tools and technologies.
- Three (3) years of conducting manual penetration testing and code review against web apps, mobile apps, and APIs.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Preferred one year of experience in the development of web applications and/or APIs.
