Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Accountant to join our team in Hadapsar, Pune. As a full-time role, you will be responsible for handling various accounting responsibilities to support our extensive network of educational institutions. Your strong financial reporting and reconciliation skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, will be invaluable assets to our team.
Purpose of Job
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with parents, vendors, and school staff for various financial matters. Timely collection of fees and providing proper details to parents will be a key focus area.
- Fees Collection
- Manage petty cash account
- Keep track of all monetary transactions at the location
- Entry in Tally software
- Admissions processing
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Prepare and analyze account reconciliations
- Prepare and verify daily reports
- Prepare daily deposits of goods sales receipts
- Reconcile bank account
- Prepare & Compile monthly reports & expenses
- Provide monthly detail to the Accountant at Head Office for General Journal entries
- Ensure proper recording of new purchases and disposals
- Prepare labels and maintain files as needed within the department
- Prepare correspondence as needed within the department
- Assist HR Department with payroll system and payroll related items
- Assist the school office for various common responsibilities such as school uniform, books & stationery, events in the school, etc.
- Other allied work
- Cooordinating with HR in processing EPF
- Ensure that all administrative duties, checks, documentation, reports and returns (internal and external) are completed accurately and submitted within required deadlines.
