About this role

We are seeking an IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technology department, you will play a critical role in maintaining and managing various systems, servers, and networks.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the smooth operation, security, and reliability of our IT infrastructure.
  • Monitor and manage servers, networks, and systems for high availability and optimal performance.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and hardware components.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to servers, networks, and software applications in a timely manner.
  • Implement security measures to protect our data and systems from unauthorized access, viruses, and other threats.
  • Regularly update and patch systems to ensure they are up-to-date with the latest security and software enhancements.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access levels to ensure proper security protocols are followed.
  • Collaborate with vendors to evaluate and recommend new hardware and software solutions that align with business needs.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an IT professional or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of operating systems, virtualization technologies, cloud services, and networking protocols.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages for automation and system management.
  • Experience with system monitoring and diagnostic tools.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with team members and end-users.
