Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to design and manage large-scale Kubernetes clusters on-premises. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux, containers, and Kubernetes internals.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing highly available and scalable Kubernetes clusters using Nutanix infrastructure.
  • Ensuring the security and integrity of cluster configurations, including RBAC, network policies, and secrets.
  • Implementing monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk to ensure optimal cluster performance.
  • Troubleshooting issues to maintain high availability and uptime.
  • Benchmarking and optimizing cluster performance to meet business requirements.

The successful candidate will possess:

  • At least 7 years of experience with Linux and containerization.
  • 4+ years of experience with Kubernetes (on-premises).
  • Strong hands-on experience with kubeadm, Helm, and deep knowledge of Kubernetes internals.
  • Practical experience with Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, and Grafana.
  • Good understanding of networking in Kubernetes, ingress setup, and optionally service mesh.
  • Strong troubleshooting and monitoring skills using Kubernetes-native and external tools.
  • Experience with Docker and deploying applications through CI/CD pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of Kubernetes security and best practices in on-prem environments.
  • Strong Linux system administration skills.
