Job Description

We are seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and services.

This individual will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining distributed storage systems using Ceph, ZFS and NFS for hybrid and cloud-native environments.

  • Design and implement distributed storage systems using Ceph, ZFS and NFS for hybrid and cloud-native environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to storage, networking and container orchestration systems.
  • Implement monitoring, logging and alerting for infrastructure using tools like Prometheus.
  • Collaborate with development and SRE teams to ensure seamless CI/CD and infrastructure reliability.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and incident response.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
  • Proficiency with Ceph and ZFS administration.
  • Solid experience managing NFS servers and performance tuning.

Desired qualifications include:

  • Experience using the Rook-Ceph operator for Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of CSI storage drivers and volume provisioning in Kubernetes.
