Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our tech team and help build cutting-edge products to combat fraud. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable solutions that extract and process large amounts of data from various sources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Extraction: Design and develop automated data extraction systems to collect data from websites, APIs, and public datasets.
  • Data Processing: Clean, normalize, and structure the extracted data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Integration with Pipelines: Deliver clean data into NoSQL stores and ETL pipelines for further processing.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Verify data accuracy, detect and remove duplicates, and maintain trust scoring to ensure high-quality data.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in web scraping, crawling, or data collection.
  • Strong Python skills (BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Selenium, Playwright, Requests).
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB) and data serialization formats (JSON, CSV, Parquet).
  • Experience in handling large-scale scraping with proxy management and rate-limiting.
  • Basic knowledge of ETL processes and integration with data pipelines.
