Job Title: Enterprise Data Architect

  • We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as an Enterprise Data Architect.

As an Enterprise Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing end-to-end data solutions that align with business goals and technical strategy. You will define data models, integration patterns, and governance frameworks while guiding cross-functional teams in the successful delivery of secure and scalable data platforms.

This role is based in Sydney and is initially on a 3-month contract with the possibility of extension.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Designing and implementing scalable, secure, and aligned data architectures.
  • Defining and maintaining data integration patterns and governance frameworks.
  • Developing and communicating data strategy and architecture roadmaps.
  • Collaborating with data engineers, developers, and analysts to ensure effective delivery.
  • Working closely with stakeholders to align solutions with business requirements.
  • Guiding engineering teams through implementation using best practices.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in architecting enterprise-level data solutions.
  • Proficiency with tools and platforms such as Databricks, Azure Synapse, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Git and Azure DevOps.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, security, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to balance technical depth with long-term strategic thinking.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
