Acquisition and Liaison Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Acquisition and Liaison Professional to lead and manage all Right of Way (RoW) and Liaison activities for transmission line projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Right of Way (RoW) Management:
    • Establish partnerships with landowners, local bodies, and government agencies to secure RoW for transmission lines.
    • Resolve disputes and grievances related to land acquisition and compensation in a fair and timely manner.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of RoW agreements, compensation records, and legal approvals.
  • Liaison & Statutory Clearances:
    • Forge strong relationships with government officials to expedite DLVC and section 16 orders.
    • Ensure seamless compliance with relevant sections of the Electricity Act and other regulations.
    • Coordinate technical and legal documentation required for clearances with EPC contractors and internal teams.
  • Project Coordination & Support:
    • Synchronize RoW and clearance timelines with project execution schedules.
    • Provide support to site teams during foundation, erection, and stringing activities by ensuring RoW availability.
    • Prepare and submit detailed progress reports on a regular basis.
  • Risk & Stakeholder Management:
    • Identify potential risks in RoW acquisition and statutory processes; develop effective mitigation strategies.
    • Build and maintain positive relationships with local communities, panchayats, and government officials.
    • Represent the organization in public hearings, stakeholder meetings, and regulatory forums.
