About the Role

We seek a skilled and experienced Tender Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the tendering and proposal development process for projects in carbon markets, renewable energy, environmental services, and sustainable initiatives.

This role is ideal for an individual with a strong background in tender management who can work collaboratively with internal teams and experts to develop high-quality proposals tailored to client and sector requirements.


Responsibilities
  • Manage the preparation and submission of tenders, RFPs, EOIs, and bids in line with client and sector requirements.
  • Review tender documents and identify compliance requirements, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (technical, legal, finance, business development) and tender experts to compile inputs, cost estimates, and supporting materials.
  • Draft and structure high-quality technical and commercial proposals tailored to carbon markets, renewable energy, and sustainability projects.
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of templates, case studies, credentials, and standard bid documents.
  • Track and monitor relevant opportunities from government bodies, corporates, and international organizations.
  • Ensure timely submission of proposals and post-submission follow-up with clients and partners.

Requirements
  • Qualification: Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2-6 years of relevant experience in Tender Management in the field of Climate Change and Sustainability.
  • Strong knowledge of tendering procedures in government, corporate, or donor-funded projects.
  • Has worked directly on tenders of organizations such as GIZ, World Bank, ADB, UNDP, etc.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent writing and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to coordinate across departments and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
  • Prior experience in drafting proposals for sustainability, carbon credits, or renewable energy projects.
  • Exposure to working with international donors, development banks, or corporates.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
