Job Title: Enterprise Data Modeling Expert

At our organization, we are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Modeler to work closely with internal stakeholders and Engineering teams.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating data architectures and logical/physical data models for databases and data warehouses. They will also be an integral part of the Data Engineering, Data Architecture & Platforms, and Data Science teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform enterprise-level and project-level data modeling, including model management, consolidation, and integration.
  • Understand business requirements and translate them into conceptual (CDM), logical (LDM), and physical (PDM) data models using industry standards.
  • Manage data models for multiple projects and ensure they are synchronized and adhere to Enterprise Architecture with proper change management.
  • Establish and manage existing standards for naming and abbreviation conventions, data definitions, ownership, documentation, procedures, and techniques.
  • Achieve the reusability of the model and approach across different business requirements.
Requirements:

The successful candidate will have at least 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer or Software Engineering, or 10 years with a Master's degree. They should demonstrate strength in examining issues, driving resolution, and influencing effectively across the organization.

The ideal candidate will also have superb interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain digital concepts and technologies to business leaders and vice versa.

They should possess strong analytical skills, with the ability to break down complex problems into manageable components and develop effective solutions. Additionally, they should be able to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
