Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Data Modeling Expert to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating existing data systems, updating and optimizing data models, and developing best practices for data coding, naming conventions, and data dictionary.

  • Analyze and evaluate existing data systems and continuously update and optimize data models.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into long-term solution data models.
  • Develop conceptual data models and data flows in collaboration with data ingestion teams from different business areas.
  • Implement data strategies and develop physical data models.

Data Modeling Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field.
  • 5+ years hands-on experience with physical and relational data modelling, with overall 10+ years of industry experience.
  • Expert knowledge of metadata management and related tools.
  • Knowledge of mathematical foundations and statistical analysis.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills

A Day in the Life:

As a Data Modeling Expert, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data models that meet the needs of the organization. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.

You will also be responsible for ensuring that data is accurate, complete, and consistent across all systems. This includes developing and maintaining data standards and guidelines, as well as conducting regular data quality checks.
