Job Title: Accounting Director
Description:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented accounting professional to support the financial operations of our investment funds. This role will be responsible for managing daily accounting tasks, assisting in quarterly reporting, and supporting annual audit and tax compliance across multiple entities and fund structures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the accounting team on bookkeeping and related tasks, including record cash transactions, prepare bank reconciliations, code invoices in AP system, record journal entries in accounting software, to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of accounting records.
- Support day-to-day accounting operations for multiple fund entities, including preparing cash flow projections, fee calculations, capital call and capital distribution schedules as needed.
- Assist in preparation of quarterly and annual closing workbooks, financial statements, and capital statements.
- Organize and maintain accounting documents and data.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, Chartered Accountant, or equivalent professional credential preferred.
- 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in accounting, ideally within private equity.
- Prior work experience collaborating with U.S. accounting teams preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and accounting systems.
