Job Summary:

  • We seek a skilled professional to assess and underwrite proposals for medical term plans, ensuring accurate risk evaluation and effective management of financial exposures.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough lapse case assessments, evaluating complex medical scenarios and making informed decisions on policy coverage.
  2. Process POS/alteration cases in the STP QC bucket, exercising sound judgment and analytical skills to minimize risks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, risk assessment, and problem-solving, with a strong foundation in mathematical and statistical concepts.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Medical assessment knowledge, including familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as mathematics, statistics, or actuarial science, from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 5-6 years of experience in underwriting medical and term plans, with a proven track record of successful risk management and policy administration.
  • At least 5+ years of experience in the life insurance or health insurance industry, with a deep understanding of market trends and regulatory requirements.
