As a seasoned Risk Management Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing our technology risk management strategy.

The position involves collaborating closely with the CIO Corporate Bank division to ensure robust and sustainable control governance across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with key stakeholders to implement effective risk management solutions.
  • Support senior leadership in developing data-driven narratives to inform decision-making.
  • Provide credible challenge to enable business growth while ensuring risks remain within appetite.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits, and regulatory exams.
  • Design and implement processes to test the effectiveness and sustainability of technical controls.
  • Develop strategies for reducing risk exposure, including preparedness for audit and regulatory exams.
  • Assist application owners in identifying and documenting risks, and developing remediation plans.
  • Track and report on key risk indicators and control uplift programs.
  • Work with application teams and control owners to identify and resolve potential issues in control design.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Extensive experience in technology risk management and advisory.
  • Strong understanding of three lines of defense model and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience with regulatory environments and financial services technology.
  • Robust knowledge of data risks, including data-related technology controls, policies, standards, and tools.
  • Relevant experience working with auditors, regulators, and external auditors on exams, reports, and information requests.
