Accounting Role Overview

A global accounting services provider seeks a skilled Junior Accountant to join their team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing comprehensive financial reports, reconciling accounts, and assisting with audits.

Daily tasks include data entry, verifying the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The Junior Accountant will also collaborate with senior accountants to perform regular financial analysis and support budget preparation and forecasting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers
  • Preparing comprehensive financial reports and statements
  • Reconciling accounts and investigating discrepancies
  • Assisting with audits and financial reviews
  • Data entry and record-keeping
  • Verifying invoice accuracy and compliance

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in bookkeeping and accounting software (Tally, Tally ERP)
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Strong data entry skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and standard auditing procedures
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
  • Experience with international accounting standards is an asset
