Job Title: Investment Portfolio Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive investment portfolio analyst to join our team.

The primary responsibilities of this role will be to prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations for hedge fund portfolios. This includes ensuring accurate reporting and operational efficiency.

Additionally, the portfolio analyst will perform P&L reconciliation between fund administrator reports, internal records, and prime broker statements. Cash reconciliation across custodians, banks, and internal systems is also an essential part of this role.

Investigation and resolution of discrepancies in positions, pricing, fees, and expenses are critical functions that require strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Supporting month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and accruals, is another key responsibility. The portfolio analyst will also assist in performance reporting and investor statements.

Trade settlement and reporting coordination with fund administrators, prime brokers, and custodians is necessary to ensure accurate trade settlement and reporting.

Collaboration with portfolio managers and risk teams is required to validate portfolio data and performance metrics.

Participating in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy is also expected.

The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master's or professional certification like CFA/CPA is a plus.

2–5 years of experience in fund accounting or hedge fund operations, preferably with exposure to NAV calculation and reconciliation processes, is required.

A strong understanding of financial instruments, such as equities, derivatives, fixed income, FX, etc., is essential.

Proficiency in MS Excel and knowledge of fund accounting software, e.g., Advent Geneva, Investran, or similar, are advantages.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are necessary to succeed in this role.

Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet tight deadlines is critical.
