This role is ideal for a talented Data Analyst who excels in designing and modeling data structures using Entity-Relationship Diagrams (ERD) and object modeling techniques.

The selected candidate will play a critical role in ensuring robust, efficient, and scalable solutions by leading the design of logical and physical data models, conceptualizing and documenting ERDs for relational and dimensional schemas.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design of logical and physical data models, including conceptualizing and documenting ERDs for relational and dimensional schemas.
  • Model and define web service data structures, focusing on object modeling (UML, object-role modeling), and ensuring alignment with system architecture.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, data architects, and software engineers to interpret requirements and translate them into well-defined data and service models.
  • Ensure model accuracy, consistency, and evolvability, support versioning, governance, and team collaboration.
  • Optionally, assist in designing reporting layers, defining business rules, and optimizing query performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong command of object-oriented modeling using techniques like UML or ObjectRole Modeling (ORM).
  • Hands-on experience with modeling tools such as Erwin Data Modeler, SAP Power Designer, ER/Studio, Enterprise Architect, etc.
  • Familiarity with source-to-target mapping, data lineage, metadata documentation.
  • Proficiency in SQL, familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, AWS) is a plus.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, able to bridge technical and business perspectives.
