Job Title: Java Production Support Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Java Production Support Specialist to play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our production systems. This individual will work closely with the engineering team to develop solutions for customer-reported problems, while also participating in daily scrum meetings to update the development team on ongoing escalation statuses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize technical and analytical skills to resolve critical customer/field technical escalations from various teams.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to develop solutions for customer-reported issues.
  • Participate in daily scrum meetings to provide updates on ongoing escalation statuses.
  • Own highly technical customer escalations with clear expectations and timelines.
  • Analyze data available on the platform and code base to build tools and techniques for root cause analysis.
  • Reduce time to resolve product issues by fixing them as needed after RCA.
  • Provide timely updates to issue reporting teams to improve overall customer satisfaction.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in technical product support roles, preferably in escalations teams.
  • Experience working as an L3 escalation engineer handling complex customer issues.
  • Strong expertise in Java technologies, including software development experience.
  • Good understanding of MySQL/MariaDB/RDBMS and database concepts.
  • Experience troubleshooting and helping with root cause analysis for customer/support/field reported issues.
