Quality Assurance Analyst Role

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team. This key role within the DevSecOps department is responsible for ensuring the quality and security of software delivery across platforms.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop test plans for application interfaces and operations, ensuring seamless integration and efficient testing processes.
  • Maintain Sonar Cloud quality gates and monitor code quality metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Track defects from QA findings and conduct release readiness reviews, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployments.

Vulnerability & Security Expertise

  • Perform vulnerability scanning and reporting using tools like Sonar Cloud and Visual Studio, proactively addressing potential security threats and ensuring compliance.
  • Support audit readiness and escalate unresolved blockers, providing critical insights to inform business decisions.

Collaboration & Support Specialist

  • Participate in weekly QA reviews and collaborate with Dev Leads, Ops, and Service teams, fostering open communication and driving process improvements.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for QA-related issues, delivering prompt resolutions and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

Reporting & Documentation Expert

  • Maintain and update system documentation and QA procedures, ensuring accuracy and relevance in a rapidly evolving environment.
  • Prepare weekly status reports detailing progress, testing tasks, and artifact collection, facilitating informed decision-making and stakeholder engagement.

Additional Duties & Responsibilities

  • E nsure smooth operation and integration of QA processes within DevSecOps, aligning with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Support release and deployment coordination for enhancements and integrations, ensuring timely and successful implementations.
  • Provide training and support to team members on QA tools and processes, promoting knowledge sharing and collaboration.

Core Competencies

  • Proven experience in QA methodologies, test planning, and defect tracking, demonstrating expertise and dedication to excellence.
  • Knowledge of static code analysis, and vulnerability scanning (e.g., Sonar Cloud), applying industry best practices and staying up-to-date with emerging trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong relationships and achieving results through effective collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines while maintaining a focus on quality and delivery.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus, enhancing technical expertise and professional credibility.
