Job Description

As a key member of our data quality team, you will play a critical role in implementing and managing metadata, business glossary, and data dictionary to ensure seamless data flow and accuracy.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collecting and managing metadata, including business glossary and data dictionary
  • Supporting the identification and management of critical data elements
  • Developing business rules and hypotheses to test the consistency of usage
  • Supporting data quality dashboards and 'to-do lists' for monitoring and remediation
  • Working with data stewards to coordinate the creation of data quality controls and monitoring tools

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Business Administration, Communications, Accounting, Computer Science or Finance, as well as any other related field of expertise
  • 2-4 years of experience in data quality implementation

Key Responsibilities

  • Involved in each stage of the data quality development cycle (analysis, designing, development, testing, and documentation)
  • Thorough knowledge of creating different kinds of profiles and understanding profile results
  • Ability to write complex SQL queries and data quality rules on data quality platforms
  • Hands-on experience of creating glossary, catalogue, DQ monitoring projects on data quality platforms
  • Working knowledge of integration with different tools and technologies like Collibra, Power BI, etc.
  • Good exposure to UNIX or any scripting language
  • Extensive work experience on data governance tools like Ataccama
