Financial Analyst Opportunity

The role of Investment Analyst is an exciting chance for a student or recent graduate to gain practical experience in investment advisory, portfolio management, and risk analysis.

This internship provides hands-on experience with asset allocation using investment advisory tools. You will learn about artificial intelligence applications in finance and develop strong analytical and financial modelling skills.

You will also have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects involving investment advisory, portfolio management, and risk profiling.

About the Role
  • Analyze and present market data insights for portfolio recommendations.
  • Assist in preparing pitch books and investment presentations for clients.
  • Learn about client interaction and investment strategies.
Key Responsibilities
  • Investment Advisory & Client Engagement
    • Participate in mock client meetings to develop communication skills.
    • Analyze and present market data insights for portfolio recommendations.
    • Assist in preparing pitch books and investment presentations for clients.
    • Learn about client interaction and investment strategies.
  • Financial Research & Analysis
    • Understand debt securities and yield to maturity (YTM) calculations.
    • Conduct fundamental and technical analysis of equities and alternative investments.
    • Compare investment options such as corporate bonds, NCDs, and mutual funds.
  • Portfolio & Risk Management
    • Create a portfolio of assets allocating virtual money to buy equities, debt, ETFs and alternative investments such as REITs, INVITs etc. with near live price feeds and compare your asset allocation to target asset allocation suggested through AI powered risk profiling.
    • Develop portfolio allocation strategies.
    • Perform AI powered risk profiling using our Virtual Risk Analyser and understand your behavioural biases.
  • Technical & AI-Driven Financial Tools
    • Work on Virtual Portfolio Analyser.
    • Work on Virtual Risk Analyser.
    • Learn about artificial intelligence in portfolio management.
  • Capstone Project
    • Prepare an investment proposal for a client, including:
    • Security/fund selection and justification.
    • Long-term macroeconomic outlook.
    • Portfolio allocation recommendations.
