Job Title: IT Asset Lifecycle Manager

We are seeking a skilled professional to manage and optimize our organization's IT asset lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain asset tracking systems.
  • Manage asset lifecycle from procurement to disposal, ensuring accurate tracking of assets.
  • Establish workflows for asset requests, approvals, deployments, and returns.
  • Maintain an accurate Configuration Management Database (CMDB) for assets.
  • Develop asset audit processes to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
Software Asset Management (SAM):
  • Configure and maintain software license management systems.
  • Track and manage software licenses, subscriptions, and usage across the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements and avoid audit risks.
  • Optimize software spending by identifying unused licenses and ensuring efficient allocation.
  • Generate compliance and usage reports for stakeholders and audits.

Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience), as well as 5-7 years of experience in IT asset management, knowledge of ITIL processes, especially asset and configuration management, and experience with CMDB configuration and management.

Skills and Competencies include proficiency in ServiceNow administration, including workflow configuration and customizations, analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, and create and manage custom scripts, workflows, and integrations using JavaScript and other relevant languages.

As an IT Asset Lifecycle Manager, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our organization's IT asset lifecycle. You will be responsible for managing asset tracking systems, establishing workflows for asset requests and approvals, and maintaining an accurate Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
