Job Title: Senior Infrastructure Automation Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead the design and implementation of a Zero-Touch Build, Upgrade, and Certification framework for our on-prem GPU cloud environment.

The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in building and scaling infrastructure automation systems, with expertise in Ansible, Python, ipmitool, firmware scripting, and Linux shell scripting. They will be responsible for architecting, leading, and implementing a fully automated deployment pipeline for GPU cloud infrastructure, as well as designing and maintaining automation for bare-metal control, hardware inventory management, configuration drift detection and remediation, and more.

  • Develop a zero-touch deployment pipeline for GPU cloud infrastructure that ensures seamless integration and efficient scalability
  • Create GitOps-based workflows for end-to-end infrastructure lifecycle management, streamlining collaboration and version control
  • Design and maintain automation for bare-metal control, firmware and configuration flashing, hardware inventory management, and configuration drift detection and remediation, ensuring high levels of precision and reliability
  • Extend internal automation frameworks using Ansible, Python, and related tooling, driving innovation and continuous improvement
  • Serve as a technical authority and mentor, guiding junior engineers and collaborating cross-functionally with hardware, SRE, and platform engineering teams to drive project success
  • Lead architectural and design reviews for infrastructure automation systems, fostering best practices and industry-leading solutions
Requirements
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in infrastructure engineering, automation, and systems design, with a strong focus on scalability and efficiency
  • Primary key skills: Ansible, Python, ipmitool, firmware scripting, Linux shell scripting, with a deep understanding of each technology's capabilities and limitations
  • Proven experience with bare-metal automation in data center environments, demonstrating expertise in complex system design and implementation
  • A strong foundation in Linux systems, networking, and Kubernetes infrastructure, with a solid grasp of security, compliance, and performance considerations
  • Familiarity with GitOps workflows and tools, including CI/CD systems and managing Git-based pipelines for infrastructure
  • Experience with infrastructure monitoring, logging, and drift detection, ensuring high levels of visibility and responsiveness
  • Strong cross-team collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate technical concepts and drive project outcomes
