Job Title: Senior Business Analyst.

Job Description

We are seeking a senior business analyst to join our team. As a key member of the knowledge services group, you will work with an investment management firm to support the CFO's office of a European private equity client. You will be responsible for corporate accounting including consolidation based on IFRS and statutory reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project areas in the engagement, including managing activity dashboards, monitoring requests, and allocating tasks among team members.
  • Monitor transactions interfaced between ERPs and fix/flag issues accordingly.
  • Coordinating with teams to collate information and communicate status to client teams.
  • Review reconciliation results, regular reports, and ad-hoc requests prepared by the team.
  • Generating analysis/reports based on client/team requests.
  • Improving current set of reports and proactively working with team counterparts to add value.
Domain Skills:
  1. Three to five years of post-qualification experience in consolidation of financial statements as per IFRS.
  2. Ability to understand group structure and review relevant consolidation adjustment entries.
  3. Ability to analyze variances between actual and budgeted operating expenses.
  4. Ability to review results of transaction reconciliations.
Technical / Behavioral Skills:
  • Good working knowledge in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Power point; VBA programming knowledge is an added advantage.
  • Good working knowledge of PowerBI.
  • Exposure to business software applications such as SAP, business dynamics, and others.
  • Good written / verbal communication skills, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Others:
  • Ability to work as an individual and within a team.
  • Ability to work effectively to meet client stakeholder expectations.
  • Taking ownership of tasks and working with clear focus to meet timelines based on SLA requirements.
