Accountant Role in Real Estate & Construction

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations, ensure compliance, and prepare accurate reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate accounting records, ledgers, and financial documents.
  • Handle accounts payable, receivable, and reconcile bank statements on time.
  • Manage project-wise accounting and cost allocation for construction projects effectively.
  • Prepare and submit RERA quarterly reports and compliance documentation.
  • Ensure timely preparation and submission of GST, TDS, and other statutory returns.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities.
  • Prepare MIS reports, financial statements, and audit documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, auditors, consultants, and regulatory bodies efficiently.
  • Monitor vendor payments, client receipts, and ensure timely settlements.
  • Assist in strategic financial planning and decision-making processes.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (M.Com/CA Inter preferred).
  • 2–5 years of experience in accounting roles within real estate/construction sectors.
  • Mandatory: Hands-on experience with RERA submissions and compliance is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances is required.
  • Proficiency in Tally ERP/accounting software and MS Excel is necessary.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities are required.
  • Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
