Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow CMDB Technical Lead to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within the ServiceNow platform.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ITIL processes and best practices, as well as experience leading CMDB projects and teams. They will also possess in-depth knowledge of database design, data modeling, and data governance principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop the CMDB within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure CMDB solutions meet business needs.
  • Implement and enforce CMDB data standards, policies, and procedures to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
  • Maintain CMDB documentation, including data models, workflows, and processes.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the CMDB development team.
  • Audit and maintain data quality to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Integrate the CMDB with other IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and tools.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in CMDB development and administration within the ServiceNow platform.
  • Proven experience leading CMDB projects and teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
  • Experience with integrating CMDB with other ITSM processes and tools.
  • Strong understanding of database design, data modeling, and data governance principles.
