Process Optimization Engineer

Job Summary:

As a Process Optimization Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and optimizing complex process systems for various industries. This position involves developing dynamic simulation process models, smart applications, and analyzing project requirements to deliver high-quality project results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop highly complex dynamic simulation process models and smart applications using Simulation and Optimization tools.
  • Understand and analyze project requirements and translate them into specifications and project deliverables.
  • Produce timely and high-quality project delivery.
  • Build and configure dynamic process and flow models for Oil & Gas Process.
  • Run simulations for a wide range of scenarios with built models.
  • Carry out dynamic process and control studies.
  • Perform optimization and de-bottlenecking studies.
  • Assist with Flow Assurance model building for Real-time production assurance systems.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering (Master's degree is preferred).
  • 8+ years' experience in Refinery or Petrochemical operations/process controls/process Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with Advanced Process Control, Real-Time Optimization, Performance Monitoring, and First Principal modeling.
  • Skilled in modeling tools such as Aspen Hysys, Aspen GDOT, KBC Petrosim, Technip Spyro, etc.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong domain knowledge and Chemical Engineering principles and operations.
  • Good communication, writing, and presentation skills.
