International Policy Specialist

This role exists to shape international policy, foster global partnerships, and enhance India's trade and investment opportunities in alignment with national economic priorities.

The position operates in a highly dynamic global business and policy environment, requiring proactive engagement with governments, multilateral organizations, global industry associations, and Indian businesses to influence international trade and economic policy.

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • A master's degree in international relations, public policy, economics, or business administration. A PhD or equivalent international policy exposure is preferred.
  • Total of 25-30 years of progressive leadership experience in trade, diplomacy, global economic policy, or senior roles in government/industry bodies with extensive international exposure.

You will be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing the organization's international strategy to enhance India's global economic influence.
  • BUILDING AND SUSTAINING RELATIONSHIPS WITH FOREIGN GOVERNMENTS, MULTILATERAL ORGANIZATIONS, AND GLOBAL CHAMBERS TO ADVANCE TRADE AND INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES.
  • DRIVING PROGRAMS FOR MARKET ACCESS, INVESTMENT FACILITATION, AND INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS COOPERATION TO DELIVER TANGIBLE OUTCOMES FOR INDIA'S INDUSTRY.
  • ENSURING GLOBAL ENGAGEMENTS REINFORCE INDIA'S DOMESTIC ECONOMIC AND POLICY OBJECTIVES TO ALIGN WITH NATIONAL PRIORITIES.
  • DEVELOPING REVENUE STREAMS THROUGH COLLABORATIONS, SPONSORSHIPS, AND PROJECTS TO ENSURE FINANCIAL SUSTAINABILITY OF INTERNATIONAL INITIATIVES.

Additionally, they will be able to drive programs for market access, investment facilitation, and international business cooperation to deliver tangible outcomes for India's industry.
