As a team lead in the subtitling coordination department, you are responsible for managing and developing your team members. Your tasks include scheduling work internally, monitoring project progress, and communicating with translators to ensure timely completion of projects.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise Localization Coordinators within your span of control
  • Set clear objectives and ensure each team member aligns with the team's vision
  • Communicate expectations, goals, and feedback to the group regularly and resolve any concerns or issues proactively
  • Collaborate with the Translator Support team to report linguist pool health and plan for capacity for rare languages
  • Facilitate discussions and find satisfactory solutions for conflicts that may arise

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Good time management skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Keen interest in the media industry
