Job Title: Technical Quality Assurance Specialist

As a Technical Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for performing thorough checks on files daily across various file types to ensure they meet industry and standard requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify that language subtitles adhere to guidelines and client-specific requirements.
  • Check subtitles against reference material and implement required instructions for consistency and error-free output.
  • Maintain an average quality yield of 99% with less than 1% error rate throughout the year.
  • Update work trackers and provide accurate project status.
  • Ensure timely delivery for all clients.
  • Coordinate with teams and update project notes for changes or fixes in languages based on errors found.
  • Provide feedback to users and departments for quality measure implementation upstream.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with clients.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Mentor and coach newer recruits to bring them up to expected quality standards.
  • Promote teamwork and suggest improvements to the platform or subtitling workflows.
  • Actively participate in job and personal knowledge training programs.
Required Skills and Attributes:
  • Exceptional audio sensitivity for understanding diverse English accents.
  • Good comprehension and communication skills.
  • Broad cultural knowledge and wide range of interests.
  • Team player with detail-oriented approach, ability to multi-task, and work under tight deadlines.
  • Technically proficient in Microsoft Office and good knowledge of computers and internet.
