Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Risk Management Specialist. As a key member of our group, you will play a vital role in developing and validating risk measurement models for credit, market, and liquidity risk.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Building and nurturing positive working relationships with teams and clients to exceed client expectations.
  • Developing and validating risk measurement models for credit risk management, including credit rating/scoring methodologies, Basel IRB models, stress testing/CCAR models, and IFRS9/USGAAP impairment models.
  • Implementing regulatory change programs and designing capital management strategies and tools.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A strong knowledge of Market Risk Concepts and metrics (VaR/Value at Risk, Risk Sensitivities, FRTB, IRRB, and Market Risk Quant).
  • Familiarity with Basel, SAS, Reg Reporting, and System implementation.
  • The ability to improve processes using VBA/R/Python.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and query handling skills.
  • An understanding of risk management strategies, including derivatives (Futures/Forwards, Options, Swaps).
  • Experience with stress testing and scenario analysis.
  • Knowledge of valuation and independent price verification.
  • A postgraduate degree with CFA/FRM preferable or qualified CFA/FRM with a Graduate Degree.
