Solar Design Professional

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled solar design professional to lead a team of engineers and designers in creating and implementing solar projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in solar design, project management, and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire design process for solar PV power plants.
  • Develop and review design plans, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to define project requirements.
  • Present design solutions and progress updates to stakeholders.
  • Stay updated with the latest innovations and technology trends in solar PV design.
  • Implement best practices and industry advancements.
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international codes and standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in solar PV design and project management of single plants of 100 MWp and higher.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in design software and tools such as AutoCAD, PVSyst, Sketchup and Helioscope.

Preferred Skills:

  • 18+ years of experience required in Design & Engineering.
  • Expertise in optimizing designs to meet client requirements and project demands.
  • Ability to address and demonstrate technical challenges with suitable solutions during project execution.
