Database Professional Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced database professional to fill a key role in our organization.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Administer, maintain, and optimize large-scale databases for high-performance applications.
  • Perform query optimization, database tuning, and indexing strategies for large-scale PostgreSQL databases.
  • Implement and monitor backup, recovery, and failover strategies for production environments.
  • Manage database security, roles, and access privileges to ensure data integrity.
  • Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures.
  • Ensure database scalability, reliability, and availability in complex production environments.

Mandatory Skills:

  • PostgreSQL DBA expertise with 8+ years of experience.
  • Strong experience in performance optimization and query tuning techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux and openSUSE environment.
  • Proven work with timesqldb and related toolkit utilities.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of replication, partitioning, and clustering techniques.
  • Experience in automation and scripting using Bash, Python, or similar tools.
