Medical Communications Specialist Opportunity

Description:

This role offers the chance to combine your knowledge of medical science and writing skills to create engaging scientific materials, communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, and contribute to making cutting-edge research accessible to specific audiences.

As a Medical Communications Specialist, you will work under the guidance of scientific leads to develop high-quality client-ready materials such as slides, abstracts, posters, manuscripts, and infographics. You will also be responsible for liaising and building trusting relationships with international pharmaceutical clients, healthcare professionals, and internal/external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and delivering high-quality scientific materials to meet client needs and expectations.
  • Communicating effectively with team members, authors/faculty, clients, and vendors across different time zones.
  • Attending workshops/seminars/trainings to enhance skills and contribute to organizational objectives.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve shared goals and maintain open communication channels.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in relevant fields of scientific writing with a strong understanding of clinical research and medical communication.
  • PhD/MD (Pharmacology) or PhD (Life Sciences) or PharmD with excellent language skills and writing abilities.
  • Clear, concise, and well-structured writing style with excellent communication skills, particularly when interacting with clients.
  • Ability to adapt writing style to suit different materials and target audiences.
  • Basic knowledge of biostatistics and literature reviewing/evaluation capabilities.
