Medical Editor Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Editor to review, edit and ensure the quality and accuracy of medical and scientific documents. This role involves working closely with medical writers and subject matter experts to produce clear, consistent and compliant content for publication or regulatory submission.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Edit medical writing deliverables including research articles, review articles, case reports, editorials and more.
  • Maintain consistency in language and adherence to brand style/client guidelines.
  • Fact-check medical terminology, data and references for accuracy and integrity.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in Life Sciences/Pharmacy or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in medical and/or scientific editing within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Literature searches (NCBI, Cochrane, EMBASE) and systematic review tools (EndNote, ZOTERO, Mendeley).
  • Strong project management skills, excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Evidence Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of the English language (spoken and written).
  • Familiarity with HTA, EMA, FDA, NICE and WHO evidence requirements.
