Job Title: Senior Content Editor

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Senior Content Editor to join our Edex team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in education, student affairs, and youth trends.

  • Collaborate with senior management on content strategy and editorial planning.
  • Curate engaging content focused on education, careers, innovations, and campus life.
  • Contribute fresh story ideas and support field reporting when necessary.
  • Lead and mentor a team of writers and interns to ensure quality and consistency.
  • Work closely with the editorial team to plan and structure content for print and web editions.
  • Edit and proofread articles for accuracy, clarity, and grammar.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Journalism or Mass Communication.
  • 8 – 12 years of experience in journalism, preferably in education or youth-related content.
  • Strong editing, writing, and storytelling skills.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple assignments.

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in education journalism or content creation for student-centric platforms.
  • Exposure to multimedia content creation.
